Who may attend?
The Circle of Excellence trip is for the enjoyment and benefit of those who have achieved individual JAFRA country requirements for attendance. We are not able to accommodate additional travelers. Registration and travel will be submitted by respective Country Heads.
May I select my roommate?
Roommates will be honored as submitted by each Country Head.
If I am unable to attend or need to cancel my attendance, will I be reimbursed for the value of the trip?
There are no substitutions or monetary compensation for Achievers choosing not to attend the Circle of Excellence trip.
When should I arrive and depart from Costa Rica?
Your respective Country Head will arrange flights that arrive to San Jose during the afternoon hours of Wednesday, October 3 and depart late morning or early afternoon on Sunday, October 7. Departure from the Hotel will occur 4 hours before your scheduled flight.
May I extend my trip?
You may choose to extend on either side of the program. However, additional expenses incurred as a result of an extended stay will be your expense. Extensions are always subject to hotel availability. Please coordinate trip extensions with your respective Country Head.
If I am arriving on a date different from the group, how do I get to the hotel?
Hotel ground transportation will be provided for group arrivals and departures on October 3 and October 7, respectively. If you choose to arrive early or extend your stay in Costa Rica, airport transportation will be your responsibility. Please coordinate travel dates with your respective Country Head.
Will I be charged for luggage fees at the airport?
Since Costa Rica is an international destination for all attendees, checked luggage (normally the first bag) is (currently) free. Please confirm luggage restrictions with the airlines on which you will be traveling. Remember, all airlines assess fees for oversized, overweight and extra baggage.
When will I receive my travel documents?
Travel documents will be sent to each Country Head approximately 2–3 weeks prior to the program.
What is the electrical currency of Costa Rica?
Costa Rica′s electricity is the same as North America, 110V AC at 60Hz.
