BEWARE OF THIS SCAM: American Institute of Architects wants you to be aware of a scam, where someone calls, emails or faxes you, pretending to be the "official AIA 2010 housing company." The scam identifies itself as "the Official Housing Company" or "Official Housing Authority." All hotel reservations are to be made directly with Wyndham Jade, the American Institute of Architects appointed official AIA 2010 Housing Bureau. Do not provide your credit card information to anyone other than the Wyndham Jade/ AIA 2010 Housing. Other companies identifying themselves as the Official Housing Company are accused of unscrupulous business practices. If you have been approached by one of these scams, and have questions about any unauthorized solicitation, or hotel accommodations in general, please contact aia@wyndhamjade.com or 888-538-7794. |

Cancellations and Changes Hotel reservations may be changed or cancelled directly with AIA Housing by telephone, e-mail, fax, or in writing until 6:30 p.m. (CST) May 27, 2010. Cancellations processed before May 27 will be refunded in the same form of payment as originally made. After May 27, you must cancel directly with the hotel. Reservations cancelled after May 27, but prior to the hotel's cancellation policy, will be refunded by the hotel under its guidelines. To avoid cancellation charges, follow your hotel's cancellation policy and be sure to obtain a cancellation number. |
