Warning: Hotel Scam
The American Institute of Architects wishes to warn all of our delegates planning on attending the 2009 Convention NOT BOOK A HOTEL with a company called Convention Expo Travel or any other company, except Wyndham Jade (AIA's Official Housing Company).
Convention Expo Travel has been contacting our delegates, advising that they officially represent the conference. The company is in no way affiliated with the AIA. They are NOT the official housing agency for the convention.
Again, DO NOT BOOK A HOTEL ROOM WITH CONVENTION TRAVEL EXPO if you receive a call from them. The AIA does not recommend them.
IMPORTANT: If housing has been booked outside the official housing bureau (Wyndham Jade), AIA is not responsible for additional charges that may occur
